In some of the labs on campus, the air conditioning is cranked up. Way high.
This occurs for multiple reasons.
1) The health of the computers to keep them from overheating.
2) People would rather be cold than hot.
3) Keeps the air circulating.
and 4) Which is probably false, but to keep people in and out of the lab.
Think about it, the warm people come in the lab to cool off. They work at a computer where they A) Don't get much movement in their entire body but at the same time they have to B) keep some of the smallest joints on their body typing constantly against a keyboard.
After a while, the cold sets into their fingers and it gets rather uncomfortable to type. [what I'm feeling right now] Then, said hall resident leaves the lab to go elsewhere and another computer is open for availability.
I can't actually do that because, I) I'm not a hall resident of this building and II) I sorta ninja'd myself into the lab and I don't have a key to get back in.
So, because I have to come to the lab to use MACs, I just spent three hours, off and on, working on a video and because it's so freakin cold in this lab, my fingers feel frozen stiff. I actually debated going somewhere else to type this blog. BUT NO, COLD. YOU WILL NOT WIN THIS TIME.
Looking around, I count nineteen computers in this lab, twelve of which have occupants. I guess because the system is working, it means my conspiracy theory is accurate.
I win.

Back on YouTube
BEDA: April 19, 2010
Yay for interesting things actually happening in the world that I can talk about on camera! Not that my last two videos, both birthday videos, weren't interesting at all, but they weren't really for my target audience. Unless you're Steve. Or Raquel. In that case, you're welcome. ;)
Like I said a few blog posts ago, I have a lot of ideas for videos but there are a few reasons why they don't get put up as the "next" video.
1) Time. I have some ideas that will take an entire weekend to write, film, and edit and some of them will even require costumes.
Yup, costumes. Awesome, right?
2) Organization of time. About half of the ideas I want to film involve other people and it's just really hard, being college students, to find time when I can meet up with Angela or John and film something real quick.
3) Feelings. I mean, there are some ideas I've had that I can film, that I really wanted to film at one time, but now they're old news or I am just not excited about it anymore and I know it'll be done half-heartedly and I don't want to do that to you guys.
4) Waiting on someone else. There are a few videos that I've shot my parts for, I'm just waiting for the go-ahead from another person. This could either be in the form of me waiting for their footage or waiting for the right time to mention them. My buddy Mark, who I've used guitar footage from in my Breaking Ohio video, is going to be in a video very soon. He just has to re-vamp his website beforehand.

Birfdays
BEDA: April 14, 2010
A lot of people that I know were born in this week.
A few days ago, it was my friend Nikki's bday. I have a mostly-finished piece of artwork for her. We just need to hang out again sometime soon so I can give it to her.
Yesterday was Steve's bday. I got a bunch of his YouTube friends to send me clips of well wishes and whatnots and the video turned out wonderfully. He loved it. It's weird reading about yourself, isn't it Steve?
As for today, I've been busy working on something for Raquel. That's why today's blog is so short. I'm busy working on her video which is a....oohh, you thought I'd tell you that easily, Raquel? I know you're reading this right now. Probably because I just texted you saying, "Hey, read my blog from today. There's a message to you in it," and you did.
You're a little white mouse. :)
Okay, that's mean.
You can be any color mouse you want.

Busy, Busy, Busy
BEDA: April 12, 2010
It's weird seeing my videos reach over 1,000 views within a day of posting. I don't think that will ever get old. My How to Pick Up Women parody seemed to be a hit and I need to start getting a few more videos up in the next couple weeks while I still have the campus labs at my disposal.
This coming week I have to do a few video-type things for a different people, some for on my channel and some for on theirs. Also, I've been writing a lot more lately. On the same note, I have some people that I'm waiting for some stuff from. *COUGH*m00balot*COUGH*
You know who you are.
As I tell people on Twitter, be excited.
I love yous guys.

BEDA: I Might As Well, Right?
BEDA: April 1, 2010
Okay. So, in March, I filmed, edited, and posted a video on my YouTube channel every weekday of the month. Now that it's April, the torch has been passed on and I am no longer under any self restrictions to post videos at a specific time. A lot of YouTubers try to post videos on two specific days of the week but I've never really thought that necessary.
But I'll probably touch on that at some other April day.
I've decided to try my hand at BEDA, Blog Every Day in April, not the worldwide #1 oxygen lancing equipment you might find if you Google the word BEDA. I'm feeling pretty good about this, going in. I mean, I completed NANOWRIMO, I did a video every weekday in March, I even did a Dailybooth picture every day in March and I was only attempting to do it on the weekdays.
I can do this. I will do this. I will find something to write about every single day of April. Future subjects include, things going on in my life, things going on in the world or interesting musings that I would just rather share in a text based forum. Besides, if you read my last post, my apology to my blog, I really think BEDA is just what I need to get back into the typing spirit.
But I want your guys' input and comments on here. It'll motivate me to post more frequently, even past April. I do enjoy blogging and I'd like an excuse to do it more. Right now, I'm going to go work more on my Super Secret Second Project. I'm excited.
You should be too.
